About Us
For the young believer to grow in their God-given identity, deepen their roots, win over spiritual warfare and thrive in Christian living.
Faith Within Favour is more than a ministry, we're a movement. We at Faith Within Favour believe in the importance of helping believers to feel both encouraged and empowered to go hard towards the life that God has for them. My ministry is built on the philosophy of Philippians 1:6, that says:
"Being Confident in this very thing that He who has begun a good work in you shall do so, until the day of Jesus Christ."
What this means to me is that you can still flourish in failure. Your disappointments are not permanent. Your worries are not permanent. Your fears + tears are not permanent and will soon be wiped away. God says ALL THINGS work together for your good. It doesn't matter what may have happened yesterday, the day before or even a year ago. Christ's death on the cross gives us hope that we will see first hand the Glory of His sacrifice in our lives. There is not one thing that has happened to you that God will not use to bring you into deeper fellowship and relationship with Him.
Now, before you write this off, you may be asking what is F.E.E.T.?
F.E.E.T. is an acronym that was recently revealed to me in my quiet time. I believe that this is what made Jesus' ministry on Earth so impactful. Not only that, it really is the blueprint to what makes a successful ministry. In Jesus' 30 years on Earth, He walked through various towns, villages and high places on foot helping people to:
Find freedom from situations that seemed to have reached a dead end
Empower decision making that required them to step out in faith, leave behind comfortability and endure being uncomfortable
Encourage relationships with community by asking questions and remaining receptive
Thrive in unpredictable circumstances by moving into alignment with God's truth + trusting God to lead you into fulfillment

More About Rebecca...

01
I have always been creative and curious, looking for the next big idea. I have always enjoyed writing books and telling stories as a young girl. However, as I starting getting older, I realized that not everyone liked to hear me tell my stories. In fact, there was one point I considered not telling them at all.
02
Growing up, I battled heavily with the insecurity of feeling singled out. I struggled with the idea of not having a place while watching everyone around me fall in line with their "thing" as I sat on the sidelines. For this reason, it became increasingly harder for me to believe that I even had a voice after repeatedly being silenced over and over again. In that time, I had come to resent my testimony, my stories and myself. I became almost desperate, always search of the next-big-thing to secure my happiness. Always looking for a way out, I often lacked the awareness needed to change. It was like I was viewing life through a tinted window where I could see them, but no one really saw me. I just knew I needed something different. Nonetheless, it was at my "lowest point" where I experienced my first one-on-one encouter with God in my wilderness season. Not only did he bring me into alignment with my purpose, he gave me a new name.

Which leads to present day Rebecca, both ready and willing to be exactly both what I needed and what you currently need: a friend, confidante, teacher, a safe place to run to and land. As a former group facilator and mentor, for both boys and girls, alike, I believe that I have the qualifications necessary to make not just an impact in your life now but for your future self. There is so much I can't teach you such as how to pivot on purpose through personal dialogue and experiences, exploring topics ranging from shame. identity, hopelessness and much more to come.
Now 24, God has gifted me with the confidence needed to go forth impact the kingdom by empowering young girls and young women to go after the promise of what he has for them through confidence building strategies, faith talks and various outreaches.

Just like in Genesis 32, when God changed Jacob's name to be Israel for his willingness to admit his shortcomings, God changed my name to represent the development between who I was in the story of Rebekah and Issac (from betrayer to blessed by nations) to who I had yet to become with Joseph (from the prison to the palace). In both stories, God allowed for the "disadvatages" to shape their character and lead them to be blessed by God. My hope with the Faith Within Favour blog-website-franchaise is that you are encouraged to keep praying, pressing and praising God believing that what he's promised would come to pass.
